Hi Stephanie,
Can't believe less than 1 year ago, Valentine was a wild beast. Today, we passed our evaluation to be an official therapy dog. We plan to start visiting patients in hospitals soon. I'm so thankful for your obedience class. We're still working on our homework everyday and just amazed at how we all have changed after your class. Just can't thank you enough for the invaluable tools and training. We just moved to Texas, otherwise we would have popped into your summer Anchorage class.
Hi Stephanie!!!:-) Wanted to send this to you because Jeremy and I are both so excited to announce Electra's first play time out in the yard COMPLETELY OFF LEASH!! I truly believe that you made this possible and we have both been longing for this day since we got her! Thank you so much!! Elizabeth
Hi Stephanie,
We just wanted to say thank you so much for your awesome classes we have enjoyed them so much! Charlie and I looked forward to our Saturday classes. You are so good at what you do and the class really does make life better for all of us in our house (dogs and humans) :).
Charlie still needs brushing up but he is 100 times better so thank you for that!

Dear Stephanie,
Thank you so much for the dog training class! It helped Star and me a huge ton. We work together a lot better than I would’ve ever expected before taking the class. . Thank you again for helping us reach that level! :)
Sincerely,
Star, Grace, and our family
Stephanie
Shocked and Amazed! Being a perfect day, I was walking Diva around our neighborhood (she REALLY grooves on those). Today was a milestone: She ‘heeled’ on-leash almost PERFECTLY. I only had to reverse course on her a couple of times for leading, but ALL the rest she was nearly glued to my left leg and only a nose ahead and watching me a lot. Couldn’t believe she was the same dog. I do confess to bribery (the occasional cookie [kibble] during her stroll, but I’ll take THAT any day. The origin of hope!!!

Great class, Being an observer I notice such a dramatic improvement weekly. It is nothing short of a miracle.
Have a great week.

Stephanie,
I would like to personally say thank you for this great course! While I trusted Ivy last year when she was off leash during hikes, I’m definitely more confident in her recall abilities after this class. I’ll be honest, before our first class I never really understood what “heeling” was and now I’m relieved that it comes naturally to Ivy and myself. Another life-changing command from the get-go was the correction for jumping. I never could get both dogs off of me when I got home from work, but now they both wait until I greet them (maybe 99% of the time).
While we still have to fine tune some of the commands from the homework, your class definitely opened up new opportunities for Ivy and me that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Thanks again Stephanie! And maybe I’ll stop by next year for the big distraction class :)

Hi Stephanie,
We enjoyed your class so much this summer and are enjoying our dogs so much more after the class. You made the class so fun and effective. I've attached a photo of Trixi & Butters at graduation.
I wanted to share with you that Trixi & I went hiking with a friend & her dog at Kincaid up the coastal trail. Trixi was great even when my friend's dog was not responding to her. Trixi came every time I called her. We ran into moose 3 different times & she didn't chase any of them. In fact, the first one Trixi smelled/saw before me & instead of bolting after it, she came right back to me & stayed next to me without me even calling her. We also walked right by 4 pheasants next to the trail; she looked but didn't leave my side. It was great. Thanks again for your class. Blessings,Sheila
Feedback after Week 1
Stephanie,
Thank you for holding the Scotch Pine Dog Training class in the Wood River Valley.
Your approach to instructing the audience is superb and the program appears to be its equal. Linda and I put the No Jumping technique in place this morning. And guess what? No jumping by the Border Collie Girls. Imagine that!
The Sneak - Away drill if executed properly by the Dog Handler is a winner. It most certainly gets the dog to stop pulling. Thanks for taking the time to explain and demonstrate the technique.
Best,
Jeff
Good Morning Stephanie. This morning when I was walking Waldo in downtown with his tether dragging I thought, this is unbelievable. I would never have believed it. I thought when I signed up for the class that it would never happen for my dog. It brings a tear of appreciation to my eye when I think about what you have done for me and Waldo. I am so proud of Waldo, truly I never expected he would get Top Dog (although he has always been Top Dog to me). Lyn &Waldo
Stephanie,
I was so proud to read about you in the news, Eye on Sun Valley!
You make such a difference in the lives of dogs and their human companions!
Sending, Thanks and Congratulations,
Love,
Stanley &
Carla
Are you getting sick of me bragging about my dog yet?
I took Waldo for a walk this morning on his tether. He did so good, Stephanie. In his defense, he was doing squirrel patrol. I was so impressed with him, and I think it is all your fault! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
This afternoon our friends invited us over and we weren't going

This afternoon our friends invited us over and we weren't going to go because I didn't want to leave the dogs outside again. They told us to bring them. OMG, Stephanie, I think Waldo had more fun than he has ever had in his life! He was off leash and we walked through the farm next door to their house with their dog. There was a canal that he was jumping in and out of, he was off leash the whole time we were there - for about two hours! If I die of fun, I want you to know it will be all your fault! I cannot thank you enough. Lyn and waldo
Stephanie,
Tinkerbell is doing so well. I take her out to the barn with me at a heel, no equipment on, and have her sit and stay while I clean the stalls and hen house. and last night, she didn’t even care that there was a guy in her backyard fixing the fence. she didn’t even bark. I so appreciate what you have done for me and Tink. t

Hi Stephanie,
Once again, I want to thank you for teaching me how to train Chloe. Attached is a small video and a picture of Chloe on her first boat ride. Two months ago I couldn’t take her anywhere because of her behavior. She is a totally different dog.
Your class saved our relationship and gave us the tools to love nala and help her become the best dog she can be.
Daniel proposed last week and nala is the proud announcer!
So many thanks , laura dan and nala
Thank you so much, Stephanie. You are an outstanding teacher and I enjoyed your class, even though it was very challenging for me and Snowden. We are both much better for having taken it. I have recommended it to others and plan to see you again next year.
Thanks Stephanie
Your program is truly fantastic and one of a kind. Bea and Emmett are both doing great and are our neighborhood role models. Emmett is no longer limping so he can be a free dog and play with Bea. They both readily come when called, sit, down, wait, and stay. This winter, we have had several coyote sighting events where Bea did not chase the coyote, and although Emmet did chase he came right back.
Thank you for giving so many people and dogs your energy, you truly change lives.

Hello Stephanie, I just wanted to give you an update on my very well behaved Shey.
We finally had a chance to go hunting and use the skills provided, he was awesome!!
We found some Chukars, he let me shoot directly over him, and then he found the down birds.
Later on he found some Sage-Grouse, that were out of season, he really wanted to chase them when they flushed and I did not shoot,
however, I called, Shey come and he did!!
I was so thrilled that he listen and obeyed, this might be the most trying situation for him, but he did it! I might still be praising him just for that!!
His breeding, nose, personality, and behavior are all factors in the excellent hunting dog that he is!
I also have to tell you of our recent trip to Petsmart.
He was leash less on a down stay in the middle of the store while I shopped!!
I was kind of showing off, when it was time to check out I called him, everyone around was almost in disbelief that a young male Irish Setter
was so well behaved.
We still walk and train daily, he may not be perfect at all times, but he is to me!!
Thank you so much for everything, Shey and I achieved all of the goals I asked for!
Happy Holidays, Rick and Shey.
